The board of directors has been busy looking into an upgrade to the sound system at the Algoma Performing Arts Center. Today the board will meet with a sound engineer to go over an estimate that would include a major upgrade of the entire sound system. Such an upgrade would provide for a better acoustic experience for our students and patrons. Additionally, it would help the Algoma Performing Arts Center become an even more attractive venue to prominent acts and shows as we could meet their technical requirements. The current estimates for the needed upgrade are between $80,000-$95,000. If you are interested in donating to this project, please contact David Robertson. Algoma Performing Arts Center is now a member of the Algoma Chamber of Commerce.
