The board of directors has been busy looking into an upgrade to the sound system at the Algoma Performing Arts Center. Today the board will meet with a sound engineer to go over an estimate that would include a major upgrade of the entire sound system. Such an upgrade would provide for a better acoustic experience for our students and patrons. Additionally, it would help the Algoma Performing Arts Center become an even more attractive venue to prominent acts and shows as we could meet their technical requirements. The current estimates for the needed upgrade are between $80,000-$95,000. If you are interested in donating to this project, please contact David Robertson. His e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Algoma Performing Arts Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers.
Algoma Performing Arts Center is now a member of the Algoma Chamber of Commerce. We are excited about this partnership which gives us more opportunities to introduce the wonderful things happening in Algoma and specifically at the Algoma Performing Arts Center to a broader audience.
